"The folowing text is an exploring essay on the consequences of the "altruistic" philosophical antropologies proposed - namely by E. Levinas and Z. Baumann - as alternatives to the individualistic pre-comprehension which has been the core feature of modrn legal culture. Although "practical productivity - dogmatic receipts ready to be enforced by jurisprudence - was not one of the strong assets, their importance as strategic conceptions on the way of dealing with the law - either as discourse or as norm - is central. In a way, what derives from such conceptions is not knowledge on law, but rather a peculiar attitude concerning the way of knowing and acknowledging the law".
