With the adoption of the GDPR, citizens of the EU now benefit from increased protection of their privacy, as the purpose of the Regulation is to lay down rules on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data. The Regulation sets out several conditions for when and how personal data may be processed. These are reviewed in the following with a focus on cameras in cars. |
