Relatório de participação no 6.º Simpósio Internacional sobre Impressões Digitais da Interpol, que teve lugar em Lyon, entre os dias 7 e 9 de Abril de 2010. Este simpósio serviu para se efectuar a apresentação de diversos trabalhos relacionados com o actual estado da troca de informação sobre identificação humana, no âmbito das impressões digitais, a nível mundial, dos equipamentos actualmente existentes para o efeito e das perspectivas para o futuro. Foram também feitas apresentações sobre a problemática da acreditação e sobre a formação inicial ministrada aos futuros peritos em impressões digitais nos EUA e no Reino Unido. O signatário levou a cabo uma apresentação sobre o estado da arte em Portugal no que se refere ao exame ao local do crime.
