The present study focus on succession planning from a civil law country perspective and its statutory portion, and analyses the protection of assets and entitlements of the inheritance through the conclusion of contracts of inheritance, last wills, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, trusts, anticipatory succession and donations and gifts, and other legal agreements.
