However, some women can break it off and keep off permanently. This research aims to analyze the social representations and perspectives of young women who were victims of dating violence and ended their relationship by their own initiative, permanently. The participants were four women, aged between 22 and 32 years to whom a semi-structured interview “Interview of thoughts and experiences about dating violence” was conducted, whose data were subjected to content analysis.
