Cross Cultural Psychiatry and Probation Practice: A Discourse on Issues, Context and Practice: Kamaldeep Bhui describes the principles of cross-cultural psychiatry, reviews research evidence and identifies relevant lessons for probation and other mental health services. Community Care: Failures and Future Directions: Jayne Zito argues that community care is a failed experiment, and assesses how far mental health policy has come in providing better protection for the public. Psychiatric Support to Mentally Disordered Prisoners Within the Prison System: Phillip Vaughan, Maria Kelly and Nick Pullen report on a study of prisoners with mental health problems held in establishments covered by the Wessex Consortium.
