Tony Margetts, formerly a Senior Probation Officer in the Humberside Probation Service and currently seconded to a multiagency sex offenders' project, considers the development of partnership work in the Probation service. He argues that partnerships should be recognised as a valuable mode of service delivery, and are likely to become increasingly important under the new Labour government.
